~of note, we needed to utilize a somewhat uncommon source line for the gasoline, and we had three additional quotations completed, and all of the others were for less-than-modern methods, or they were having us buy far more stuff than we ever had because they didn't deal with them very often. However, Heidler charged us for that which we used, with no waste.
We had them put with an eye to a tankless water heater at the 5-10 year future. The quote process was simple and they were pleased to deal with my concerns during. The quote was more opaque than I preferred, but we had more quotations, and theirs was the best for those who could address all of my concerns. They were not short with me and I requested them a plethora of questions and they never gave me the belief I was wasting their time. For the installation, I was in their own back pocket the entire time, watching the work and asking questions. They didn't object or create any trouble. They made a better than code central hub for the appliance lines to come from, and this was a standard practice for them. They addressed all of my concerns and coped with my hovering over them professionally and personably, face-to-face and on the telephone. They dealt with each one of the county scheduling and allowing, so that I didn't have to organize anything with them. I had to allow the inspectors in. I will call Heidler again when we have demand for extra plumbing support.

Josh was up to the challenge and removed the pipe threads that are corroded from the fitting although the rust was extensive.
Heidler installed my hot water tank . They did a fantastic job.
Because of the nature of my well water, I requested to change the brass fittings, gage and chunk value in my well's pressure tank, as well as install a new kitchen faucet.
I'd had an issue with a leaking shower so I contacted Heidler who came out and fixed the leak, which was due to corrosion of the pipe that joins the line within the wall and the shower head.
Each time that I have used Heidler, I have found their staff to be very knowledgeable and professional, polite.

Our first two adventures with Heidler were fantastic, but recently they seem to have really gone downhill. They replaced a kitchen faucet for all of us about three months ago. It required two service calls and we supplied the faucet. Several months later we will not stay in place since they left too much strain under the sink and've discovered the hose attachment was set with plumbers putty. For the $300 in labor alone that they charged uswe would have expected function.

Our hybrid water heater expired and we called Heidler, really based on dissatisfaction with additional neighborhood plumbers. We're immediately pleased by precisely the same day response from support and after that specially pleased with the commitment of the tech to work with the manufacturer. All around a very positive experience.

We had a high efficiency heat pump hot water heater and couldn't be more happy with the choice to have Heidler manage all of it! The purchasing process was quite informative and the setup went smoothly. They took care of the BG&E rebate and we received our test. $75 $135 and service charge for maintenance and four AA batteries. This seems high compared to the list offers which were about $149 total of Angie. But for the price, I would otherwise give them five stars.
They simply cleaned and serviced my gas logs. They needed new batteries (one A23 that I already provided) in the remote and the square box four AA. Vacuumed off dust and pet hair turning off and on the gas and proceeded logs from start to finish. Good serviceman.

Another company writing their own reviews that are favorable. Don't trust the 5 star reviews. They have their friends and acquaintances writing those. If you hire them and they rip you off you don't have any one.

The last time they were an hour later than the scheduled two hour window. This time, it's 25 minutes past the two hour window and I'm told it will be another 45 minutes. Their lack of consideration for the time of one is concerning, while they do a great job.

I suggested the woman on the phone didn't even seem phased and that when they didn't break down the costs for me personally I'd take my money elsewhere. She had zero concern for trying to keep a client, fine with me I guess. I guess people are okay with paying these prices and they don't have any need for folks like me.
Interesting fact, there is nothing wrong with my stress change.
Tech showed up in time. Did his occupation and located the issue. I was billed $80 service fee to emerge and diagnose the issue, after which I was charged another $87 for actually diagnosing the issue... RIPOFF, but anything I paid him because I need this thing fixed. He says that I want a new control panel for the furnace. Cool. I receive an email saying they need $995 to replace pressure change and the controller board.
A little shocked by the price tag, I phone them to ask for a price breakdown since it was not from the email. I was told frankly that they won't break the costs that were related down and estimate the job. Since there's no accountability, I highly disapprove of the company practice. Especially to replace a component that costs approximately $300 on the side.

The Fantastic Things:- On time, completed task and cleaned up afterwards

The not-so-good:

It is way too pricey for the work. This is with pricey Rotorooter is known for, so keep this in mind.

Great company with reasonable rates and skilled and very knowledgeable staff. Moved into the Annapolis area 6 weeks ago and used Heidler to set up a natural gas line to our kitchen. Used Heidler again today to set up a lawn sprinkler back-flow valve. You can't go wrong by using Heidler if you have a plumbing problem.

Heidler (the younger Steve) install a heat pump and water heater at the past few months and can be professional, prompt and very trustworthy, Heidler will handle all our plumbing requirements from now on!

Super easy procedure and got up our gas fireplace and running in no time! They have a terrific special that includes complete inspection and cleaning. The technician was knowledgeable and prompt! All around good experience.

We have use this company previously and we have to become dissatisfied. They're instantaneous,they are considerate and they clean up after themselves. It's nice to know that you can trust that they'll do a good job.

VERY BAD IDEA!!!! The man on the phone sounded annoyed, as if I'd interrupted his day, never came to my condominium and offered a quoted priced $200.00 over Heidler's quotation. HEIDLER'S THE very best and I Will gladly recommend them
Start to finish service was performed by Heidler, from the office personnel to the onsite employees. Before work could be completed, during a recent bathroom update, there was a plumber required. Heidler responded promptly by providing an estimate at 9am and by noon on precisely the exact same afternoon, Josh with Heidler was onsite performing the occupation. I also called R.E. Robertson asking an estimate.

Heidler is superb. They have done a lot of work over the years for me. I found them to be as fantastic as ever and went back to them recently. They use a flat rate system, not hourly. It's always top notch, although you will pay a premium for their work. It's well worth it. Pipes is one of these occasions.

Chuck, the technology, showed up on time and also did an outstanding job on replacing my gas hot water heater. He layed down shed fabrics and tarps throughout the house had been clean, and also wore shoe covers. He explained to me how it functioned, and I would like to tell you it works great. In addition, he gave me an estimate to change out my sump pump, which I will be doing with Heidler! I would recommend Heidler Plumbing in Annapolis for all your plumbing needs!

Reset our smart thermostat he concentrated on two or three major problems in moments, made the repairs and examined the furnace so it functions properly, all was done in no time. Wayne is a god guy who KNOWS his company thoroughly.
We had difficulties with our furnace therefore we called Heidler. They were out over 24 hours and sent Wayne who is fantastic.

Had a plumber out of Heidler over today to help with a few drain issues. We have fast support and a great deal of very good advice . They could have oversold us some fixes that were costly but didn't. I've used regional plumbers previously but Heidler has my business today.

We found a leaking pipe in our home late. We looked on Yelp and watched Heidler. We saw all the positive reviews and decided to call them. I called on a Monday after 9pm expecting to talk to a machine and leave a message. Actually, I ended up talking in their answering services to person. She was very pleasant and took down my information. I had an appointment scheduled for later this season. The technician (Mike) was on time, very professional and considerate. I showed him exactly what I believed the difficulty was. He did some simple assessment of the circumstance, gave us a quote (which we accepted ) and began working. Mike's work was clean and efficient. All said and done it was as simple as finding a flow on a Monday night at 9pm could be. We will definitely recommend Heidler to neighbors and our friends.
